Seaguls
two thousand and eight
November 19

Tried going to the launch of the new movie Australia, to test the 200mm lens in a paparazzi setting. Unfortunately they wouldn't allow the general public in to take photos.

Dejected, I did the Carlie Brown walk towards home, but not without stopping buy Darling Harbour first. These two were resting comfortably next to each other, so I just had to take a photo.

For a change, I did zero digital adjustments. No white balance, no curves, no sharpening. This is what the D3 and the 200mm can pull off by themselves in Auto WB and Aperture Priority. Impressive.

Darling Harbour, Sydney.

Impressively sharp with no adjustments! Looks like they might have had a difference of opinion!
